Description
Winemakers Notes‘Razorback’ is a word that evokes images of rugged peaks, and a harsh, but beautiful, landscape. Vintage Central Otago in other words! This year the wine is based on a single parcel of fruit from a Clutha vineyard, in the Cromwell Basin, with smaller components from Clyde and Alexandra vineyards. The parcels were separately cool-fermented, with daily plunging, followed by a few weeks maceration in tank before going into oak for about 10 months. The final blend was assembled prior to bottling on November 25th.
