Select Vineyards Wines, Hawkes Bay, Merlot and blends
Our 2020 Select Vineyards Merlot Malbec is an assemblage of 60% Merlot and 40% Malbec from a couple of vineyards in two of the Bay's named sub-regions. The grapes were picked mid-April and combined following fermentation.The Merlot’s rich red fruit characters perfectly complement the wild berry notes and smooth tannins of the Malbec. Match with rich cuisine, especially red meats such as lamb, venison and game.
